Lyndsay followed her parents diving from a young age and would often go snorkeling while they were beneath the waves. Lyndsay moved from the central belt to Fort William and studied Advanced Certificate In Outdoor Leadership at West Highland College. She then moved to Cornwall and spent two incredible summers working as an outdoor instructor whilst also surfing, coasteering and enjoying the coast for herself in whatever ways possible. Lyndsay completed a degree in Marine and Coastal Tourism at the University of the Highlands and Islands and has gained a number of qualifications both on land and in sea. She has experience guiding on both coasts and island’s of Scotland as well as down south, up mountain’s, on river’s and land. Lyndsay is also the regional representative for the National Coasteering Charter.
This woman has an real passion for the coastal environment and can’t wait to share it with you!
About us
SeatrekScotland is based in Fort William and operate at various locations across Lochaber. The idea first took form in 2018 after Lyndsay undertook a seatrekking expedition in a considerably warmer part of the world. When she got back it didn’t take long before we started exploring the Scottish coastline in this new style, swimming, snorkeling and scrambling with a watertight bag allowed access to some incredible places. We’ve spent the last 6 years exploring!
Its taken us a while to get to this point but we’re so excited to share this with you.

Huw grew up in Shetland and started exploring the coast from a young age. In 2010 he moved to Fort William to study and fell in love with the mountains of the west coast. In 2013 he graduated from West Highland College UHI with a degree in Adventure Tourism Management and has been swimming, coasteering, hunting hidden beaches and trying to find the ever elusive ultimate lunch spot ever since.
During this time he has gathered experience and qualifications across a number of outdoor pursuits both on land and sea, including outdoor specific first aid. If not on the coast Huw can be found in the mountains on bike or skis.

Our operation is striving to have as little impact on the planet as possible and protecting the marine and coastal environment is something we are seriously passionate about.
Unfortunately, the very nature of what we do has an impact on the coastline but we plan to minimise this by limiting our group sizes and trying not to use the same venue back to back.
We plan to offset our impact through conservation projects, fundraising for marine and coastal charities across Scotland and generally trying our best to raise awareness through our trips. We are also proud partners of Leave No Trace, WildScotland and WiSE who hold principles in line with our own.
With every decision we make as a business we promise to consider how this will impact the world around us. Finally a percentage of our profits will go towards carbon removal from the atmosphere.
